SNR Laboratory and its parent institutions
Working at SNR Laboratory is exciting and intriguing opportunity. We are part of National Center for Image Guided Therapy residing at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The hospital is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School which means the faculties here are also professors of the medical school, and research fellows upon review and appointment will be granted a position at the medical school too.

Visiting Research Position
SNR welcomes visitors from national and international institutions to stay and participate in the research project. In the past we have had students seeking master and/or PHD degree, post-doctoral fellow with either MD or PhD degree. The recommended duration of the stay varies depending on nature of projects and background of the visitors; however successful visitors stay more 1 year. The visitors are responsible for obtaining financial support from their home institutions or outside of SNR laboratory. Visiting Research Position discussed here is unpaid position. The paid position are listed in the Job Opening section when there is an opening.

Post-doc life in SNR lab
One of the SNR laboratory's focus is to assist in post-doctoral fellow's career development though their stay in SNR lab. We encourage them to attend seminar's and workshops sponsored by the institution. The director, Dr. Hata, meet with them regularly to discuss the status of the project, promotion in Harvard Medical School system, and establishment of independent laboratory of their own inside and outside the Harvard. Obtaining Fellowship for Post-doc position at SNR
We assist in prospective post-docs' application to fellowship program to support their stay in SNR laboratory. Examples of fellowship program we support are Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowships for Career Development (IOF) and Japan JSPS fellowship.
