- (May 7, 2007) Dr. Hata was featured in a local new paper, Boston Globe (link to paper archive).
- (Nov. 16, 2007) Our paper entitled "A device guidance method for organ motion compensation in MRI-guided therapy" is featured in Focused Ultrasound Surgery Foundation's website (link). The methods will enable ablation therapy of moving organ by using novel motion tracking method.

- (March 5th, 2008) SNR Laboratory sponsored a talk entitled "Mechatronic systems compatible with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) promise interventional robots guided by real-time MRI as well as efficient tools for clinical diagnosis in internal medicine" by Haytham Elhawary from the Mechatronics in Medicine Lab, Imperial College London, UK.
- (Apr 9th, 2008) SNR Laboratory sponsored a talk entitled "Haptics Enabled Robot-Assisted Active Catheter Insertion" by Jayender Jagadeesan, PhD, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.
